Dash Cam Requirement

Port of Chicago

All Trans-United trucks have a road-only facing dash cam that records in case of an emergency so the details of what happened can be revealed in case of an incident.

We are offering an additional blind spot camera as an option for purchase. This camera illuminates the passenger side and rear of the tractor. These spots of visibility simply cannot be seen from the cab of the trucks, so the additional visibility has had great reviews from drivers using it.

Discussing how the system works and the additional blind spot cameras is Driver Ambassador and Owner Operator Neils Mortensen
